Next CFGS General Meeting: Thursday,
February 9, 2012; 7:30 p.m.
"The Veterans History Project" will be presented by
Dr. Barbara Gannon of the University of Central Florida.
- Where: Family History Center, 45 E. Par Street (Corner of
Par & Formosa), Orlando. General meetings usually feature a speaker
covering topics of interest to genealogy and local history researchers. This is
followed by a social break, then a short business meeting. Also on hand at the
meetings are our local society's publications including numerous local cemetery
books, indexes of library collections and much more. Visitors and guests always
welcome. Open to the public.
- BE THERE EARLY at 7:00 p.m. for our
mini-classes preceding our General meetings.
